Originally created as a character in the comic series Boy’s Club by Matt Furie, it has come to be used as a character for expressing human reactions in the form of memes. Pepe was selected for the Hopium token mascot as it is a popular meme character and is commonly used to depict one being under the influence of hopium.

The Hopium dollar or just Hopium or HOPI is a cryptocurrency created by a smart contract on the Zilliqa blockchain. The value of the Hopium dollar will come from it’s users and uses. As long as there is a use for the Hopium dollar it will have a value and as long as the demand for the Hopium dollar is higher than the supply, the Hopium dollar will gradually increase in value.
